Ganyu Ascension Materials in Genshin Impact Are Easy to Collect

Even years after her playable debut, Ganyu remains one of the best DPS characters in Genshin Impact. Fortunately, with the passage of time, Ascension Materials for Ganyu are fairly easy and straightforward to find. You can find all of her Ascension materials in regions that were available at launch. That means that even new Travelers should be able to build their Ganyu without any issue.

In total, you will need: 420,000 Mora, 46 Hoarfrost Cores, 168 Qingxins, 18 Whopperflower Nectars, 30 Shimmering Nectars, and 36 Energy Nectars. You can obtain the Nectars from Whopperflower enemies all over Teyvat. As for the Hoarfrost Cores, they are drops from the Cryo Regisvine World Boss in Mondstadt. Qingxin flowers are in mountains around Liyue. You can also grow them in your Serenitea Pot, which is a luxury OG Ganyu mains did not have.

For her Talents, Ganyu takes Diligence. You can obtain Diligence Talent Books from Taishan Mansion every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. Her Weekly Boss Drop is the Shadow of the Warrior. You can obtain them from Childe. To level up a single Talent all the way to Level 10, you will need:

  • 1,652,500 Mora
  • 6 Whopperflower Nectars
  • 22 Shimmering Nectars
  • 31 Energy Nectars
  • 3 Teachings of Diligence
  • 21 Guides to Diligence
  • 38 Philosophies of Diligence
  • 6 Shadows of the Warrior
  • 1 Crown of Insight

Ganyu’s Crit DMG increases with every Ascension. So you should Ascend her all the way. As a Cryo character whose best-in-slot Artifact Set is Blizzard Strayer, the more Crit DMG you can stuff on her, the better off she’ll be.

Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. You can only pull for Ganyu in Genshin Impact when the Adrift in the Harbor Character Event Wish is live.
