Some RPGs use crystals to change jobs, some use weapons and other items. Compile Heart’s upcoming PS4 RPG Genkai Tokki: Castle Panzers uses different sets of underwear for battle styles. Here’s the latest from the game’s official website.
Castle Panzers’ heroines are able to change their battle “styles” based on the type of underwear they’re wearing. Some underwear have styles meant for close-range combat while others specialize in magic. You’ll get to set styles before battle or even change them during battle by changing out underwear.
Here’s a look at a couple examples.
Venus Style
Venus Style specializes in close-range physical attacks. It has high stats overall, making it one of the more balanced styles. This battle style focuses on overwhelming enemies with numerous hits, making it one of the go-to styles for melee combat.
Knight Style
Knight Style is another one that specializes in close-range physical attacks. This style is especially good with physical attacks with its high attack power and defense. However, Knight Style is weak against magic. It doesn’t hit as much compared to Venus Style, but makes up for it with heavy damage. This style is best used against enemies with high defense.
