Genshin Impact Charlotte Trailer Shows How She Uses a Camera to Fight

There are Collected Miscellany videos going over new characters’ movesets whenever they join Genshin Impact, and one trailer just appeared for Charlotte. It shows how the journalist uses her camera to attack enemies.

All of Charlotte’s attacks use Monsieur Verite, her Kamera. The normal attacks deal Cryo DMG, with her charged and plunging ones dealing damage to multiple enemies instead of just one. The Elemental Skill involves an AOE Cryo DMG attack that marks enemies, though this can also be held to increase the viewfinder and hit more enemies. The Burst attack creates the Newsflash Field, which deals Cryo DMG to enemies and heals allies inside of it.

Due to being a journalist, she also has a different sort of passive ability. During it, using the Elemental Skill hold ability at certain times will allow her to take actual first-person photos, rather than attack.

Here’s the full “Charlotte: It’s a Scoop” Collected Miscellany Genshin Impact trailer, which is narrated by Dainsleif (Yuri Lowenthal) as usual.

As a reminder, Charlotte is one of two new characters joining Genshin Impact in 4.2. The Hydro Archon Furina is also playable now. However, as Charlotte is a four-star, she’s now a permanent part of the character pool. Furina will only appear when her banner does.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices.
