Genshin Impact Lyney and Lynette Gameplay Trailers Appear

HoYoVerse released Genshin Impact Lyney and Lynette Collected Miscellany gameplay trailers showing both Fontaine characters’ movesets. In each one, Dainsleif acts as the narrator. (He’s voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, as a reminder.) He goes over a bit about each person first, then discusses their attack, Elemental Skill, Elemental Burst, and talent while footage shows each being used in the game.

The Lyney trailer begins by establishing him as the most popular magician in Fontaine. His Trivial Observations Talent helps you find Fontaine resources by showing them on the map. His standard attack hits four times. His charged attack has different types of Pyro attacks depending on how long you charged it. A charge level 2 one causes a Grin-Malkin Hat to appear to taint enemies and eventually explode, but this does use some of his health. His Bewildering Lights Elemental Skill deals AOE Pyro damage and restore his health. Finally, his Wondrous Trick: Miracle Parade Elemental Burst turns himself into a Grin-Malkin Cat and deals Pyro damage.

Lynette’s trailer begins by referencing the rumors she’s an artificial lifeform. It also goes over her Loci-Based Mnemonics passive, which shows where Recovery Orbs are on the map. Her normal attack hits four times, while her charged attack deals two hits. Her Enigmatic Feint Elemental Skill heals herself, with a press dealing a thrust and a hold putting her into a Pilfering Shadow state to attack a selected enemy. The Elemental Burst Magic Trick: Astonishing Shift deals AOE Anemo damage to enemies and creates a Bogglecat to taunt and damage enemies.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. Lyney is available via the gacha until September 5, 2023. Lynette is now a permanent fixture in the gacha poll, and you can get her for free by playing.
