Since the Mega Man Star Force series began new games were released in Japan during the holidays and Capcom USA brought them here the following summer. Capcom isn’t breaking the trend with Mega Man Star Force 3: Black Ace and Mega Man Star Force 3: Red Joker. Both games are scheduled to come out in North America in early summer.
After two other Mega Man Star Force games we know what to expect from this one – lots of virus battling with Geo Stellar on an isometric grid. The new twist in this installment is a noise change system where battle cards have a noise value. Build up enough noise and Mega Man can transform. Some of these transformations like the title Red Joker and Black Ace outfits are unique so take a look at the artwork and decide which one you want to have.
