A new indie game from Emilios Manolidis combines the notion of small town life and farming with the idea that small towns can hide big secrets. Gleaner Heights is, on the surface, a farming sim along the lines of Harvest Moon, Rune Factory or Stardew Valley. You come to a small town, set up shop on a farm, raise crops and animals, form bonds with the people in town and occasionally fight in the mines or use a diving suit to go underwater. However, there is more to it than that.

Like Twin Peaks and Deadly Premonition, something is not right in the town of Gleaner Heights. You can learn more about the town’s disturbing past. Also, the 30 villagers may lead double lives that you can expose or aid. As you go through the main plot, you might get to see different endings based on your actions.
