The “MMO Hunting Action” game brings a new concept of having a bunch of players on the same field for some Aragami hunting, but it retains plenty of familiar elements from the series such as the God Arc weapons along with many fundamental God Eater features.

The story is set years after the events of God Eater 2: Rage Burst and is set in a branch located in the HImalayas with plenty of new characters to meet and team up with.

Unfortunately for those of you looking to dive right in, the game is currently in maintenance, but it shouldn’t be long until it is made available to all players.

Meanwhile, you can check out the above video to watch Famitsu play the game. You can also learn more about it in a Q&A session featured in our earlier report.

God Eater Online is available in Japan for Android. Its iPhone release should follow shortly.
