Spike Chunsoft are working with Grand Knights HIstory director Tomohiko Deguchi for their upcoming tactical RPG Grand Kingdom on PlayStation Vita. The game is releasing next month, but you’ll get to try out its demo sometime earlier. Here’s a look at the game’s latest trailer.

In Grand Kingdom, you’ll send out mercenaries into combat and fight as part of one of the four major factions in the fantasy world of sword and magic.

The battle system is turn-based, and puts emphasis on short and long-ranged positioning. There will also be a “class triangle” system for the fights, where melee units beat long-ranged shooters, ranged units beat mages, and mages beat the melee.

There’s also a fourth unit-type called the “Specialists,” which include classes like the “Challenger” and they feature a variety of abilities. Specialists don’t have any strengths or weaknesses against other classes.

At the end of the trailer, it reveals that Grand Kingdom will get a “lite” demo. While they didn’t provide a release date for the demo, it’s mentioned that save data will carry over to the full release of the game.

Grand Kingdom will release in Japan on October 22, 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
