Grand Theft Auto III And War Of The Monsters Are Next Week’s PS2 Classics

Get ready to return to Liberty City because Rockstar is re-releasing Grand Theft Auto III as a PlayStation 3 compatible PS2 Classic. The news was mentioned in the PlayStation Blogcast, which also confirmed the US developed kaiju fighting game War of the Monsters.

Sony Computer Entertainment published War of the Monsters, which is kind of like Rampage with four players and a larger selection of characters. There’s a King Kong-like monkey, a Ultraman-like robot, a Godzilla-style creature, and (my favorite!) a giant praying mantis.

Rockstar is also making the PSP versions of The Warriors and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars PlayStation Vita compatible.
