By Senko no Ronde developer G. Rev continues to add to the Xbox 360’s line up of shoot ’em ups by converting Mamoru-kun wa Norowarete Shimatta. This vertical shooter is more like a run and gun game since you move your character instead of auto scrolling through a level.
Mamoru was released in arcades last year and the console version is scheduled to come out in Japan this June. Unfortunately, like Senko no Ronde before it this is a boxed retail game so unless Ubisoft or another publisher picks this up for international distribution Mamoru-kun wa Norowarete Shimatta is staying in Japan. With all of the coming Cave ports and Shooting Love 200X its getting more tempting to just import a Japanese Xbox 360.
