Wakatsuru will use the same Japanese-made malted rice to produce the Noukaya Oyamanishiki sake drink. With a ratio of polished rice at 55%, the drink will have 16% of alcohol. A single bottle will contain 720ml of the liquor.

The bottles will be available with a tax-inclusive individual price of 3,300 yen (~$22). Wakatsuru will only produce up to 500 bottles featuring this Baiken brand.

The Baiken sake will be the third and last collaboration liquor that Wakatsuru has announced to date. The company previously released whiskey bottles branded with Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske for the first part in December 2023. A blended malt whiskey featuring Ky’s wife Dizzy followed suit for the second part in January 2024. All of the prior bottles had already sold out by the time Wakatsuru revealed Baiken’s sake.

Pre-orders for the Guilty Gear Baiken-branded Noukaya Oyamanishiki pure rice sake will open on February 22, 2024. Wakatsuru will start shipping the finished bottles in March 2024.
