Guilty Gear Heading To The Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 And PC

Arc System Works has revealed it is working on a port of Guilty Gear for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC. The game was announced one hour and twenty-six minutes into its May 14, 2018 live stream. As a reminder, this game originally launched on the PlayStation in Japan on May 14, 1998, making today the 20th anniversary of the series.

 

The original Guilty Gear only had three modes, which were Arcade, Training and Versus. Axl Low, Baiken, Chipp, Faust (as Dr. Baldhead), Justice, Kliff, Ky Kiske, May, Millia Rage, Potemkin, Sol Badguy, Testament and Zato-1 are all playable, though people have to unlock Baiken,Justice and Testament first.

A release date has yet to be announced for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC versions of Guilty Gear. Guilty Gear is available on the PlayStation worldwide and as a PSOne Classic for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita in Japan and Europe.
