Guitar Hero II rocks out on the Xbox 360

Starting with Guitar Hero II, RedOctane and new parent company Activision is going to be bringing the series to the Xbox 360. Guitar Hero II has a new X-Plorer guitar controller designed for the Xbox 360. (A USB guitar I’m sold already!) The Xbox 360 version will have exclusive downloadable content. Dusty Welch, Head of Publishing over at RedOctane had this to say, “We believe there is no better title to feature micro-transactions than a music game like Guitar Hero II, where the content is the basis of your experience. The relationship with the Xbox Live Marketplace creates endless possibilities for exclusive content.”
