Kira Yamato’s SH Figuarts will appear first in July 2024. The figure will depict him in his new pilot suit when he is piloting the Rising Freedom Gundam. The set will include a helmet, a gun, and two regular facial expression parts. It will also include Kira’s pet robot bird Torii / Birdy.

Kira can also wear his helmet, and the set will come with two more face parts that are exclusively attachable inside the helmet. The staple SEED eyes are only available to attach this way.

Lacus Clyne’s action figure will be available later in August 2024. Her figure set will come with four facial expression parts, the robot bird Blue, and her signature pink Haro.

Bandai and Sunrise have been revealing a lot of Gundam SEED Freedom merchandise and exhibitions as they get ever closer to the movie’s launch in Japan. Bandai Namco will add the Rising Freedom Gundam to the ongoing arcade game Gundam Extreme Vs 2 XBoost. It will also break Gundam: Battle Operation 2‘s tradition of being a Universal Century-exclusive game by adding the original Freedom Gundam to the PC version on Steam. Meanwhile, Sunrise is collaborating with Sanrio to pair Gundam SEED characters with the likes of Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll.

Pre-orders for the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom SH Figuarts of Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne will be available on January 26, 2024—the same day the movie launches in theaters across Japan. Bandai Spirits will release Kira’s action figure first in July 2024, and Lacus’ will follow the month after in August 2024.
