A new teaser visual has been revealed for Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury ahead of season 2 arriving in April 2023. The visual features series protagonists Suletta Mercury and her partner Miorine Rembran posed before the kneeling Gundam Aerial. A colder palette and a wartorn landscape suggest we might be in for a harsher tone than much of the first season, following episode 12’s violent cliffhanger.
Here’s the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury season 2 key visual.

For those who missed the first season, The Witch from Mercury follows Gundam pilot Suletta Mercury attending the Asticassia School of Technology with her mobile suit, Aerial. She is swiftly caught up in a world of corporate espionage, family disputes and giant robot honor duels. For those new to the world of Gundam in general, it makes a good jumping in point due to taking place in a new “Ad Stella” timeline that requires no knowledge of the various other Gundam series. Veteran fans, however, will notice plenty of recurring tropes and designs sneaking their way in.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury season 1 is available for streaming on Crunchyroll, with some episodes appearing on the official Gundam Youtube channel as well. The second season is scheduled for release in April 2023 with a side story also scheduled for Spring 2023.
