Unlike some of the other retellings and ports of the original Hakuoki tale, Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds features a number of new romance options for players. Some are people who were previously unromanceable, while others make their debut in this PlayStation Vita installment. This means Chizuru Yukimura will be meeting and romancing Hachiro Iba, Ryouma Sakamoto, and Kazue Souma for the first time.

Except he may not be exactly trustworthy. Food for thought, the real-life Sakamoto wanted to overthrow the Tokugawa shogunate and was a Shinsengumi target.

Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds will come to the PlayStation Vita on May 16, 2017 in North America and May 19, 2017 in Europe.
