We’ve read the Hakuoki story many times before. To be more precise, the otome visual novel has appeared in English as Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom on the PlayStation Portable, Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi on the Nintendo 3DS, and Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi on the PlayStation 3. Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds will be the fourth time it’s told outside of Japan when it comes to the PlayStation Vita. This time, however, additional bachelors will be available to romance. To prepare people, information on the newly dateable Shinpachi Nagakura, Keisuke Sanan, and Susumu Yamazaki has been released.

Nagakura is a man who likes to have a good time. He’s the 2nd Division, a son of a samurai, a great swordsman, and friends with both Harada and Heisuke. He’s also very proud of his physique.

Keisuke Sanan is the Shinsengumi’s Secretary-General. He’s soft spoken, intelligent, and respectful. At the same time, he’s rather intimidating. One look is all it takes for the other warriors to listen to him. He goes through some stuff in the Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds storyline.

Yamazaki is a ninja who provides intelligence to the Shinsengumi, though he also works as a medic for the group when needed. When Chizuru encounters him, he’s often helping her with delivering messages or aiding other people. He’s a very respectful man.

Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds will be released on the PlayStation Vita in North America on May 16, 2017. It will come to Europe on May 19, 2017.
