Earlier this week, HAL Labs announced that the PasocomMini, a set of mini “consoles” that recreate the form of the PC-8001 and the MZ-80C, will release on October 5, 2019, and is now available for pre-order.
The mini computers are around 1/4 of its original size, and has an N-Basic Ver. 1.1 function that allows you to create basic programming with BASIC commands
The PasocomMini also emulates the PC-8001, and can execute CMT files, and read WAVE files that can let you play games if you want if you happen to have them on hand.
The PasocomMini includes 15 games in its release, which are:

- Jupiter Lander
- Mole Attack
- Lunar City SOS!!
- Snake World
- Asteroid Belt
- Space Mouse
- Space Ship
- Sub-Marine
- Marine Belt
- Check P.
- Parachute
- PC-jan!
- Rocket Bomb
- Hashire! Skyline
- Orion 80
The PasocomMini PC-8001 connects to TVs via HDMI cables, and has a USB port to connect USB keyboards to. You can also connect a controller via USB.
The PasocomMini MZ-80C will have SmileBASIC support, an emulator for the MZ-80C, as well as the following included games:
- Heiankyo Alien
- Zeplis
- Chitei Saidai no Sakusen
- Jupiter Lander
- Zeldis
Both the PasocomMini PC-8001 and PasocomMini MZ-80C will release on October 5, 2019, and is currently open for preorder.
