Harken Back To The Arcade With Multiplayer Medieval Monster Mashing

The princess is in a rough spot, and players must grab one of four knights (or more, if they’re lucky enough to find some secrets) and use their abilities to keep cute monsters from nibbling on her in Jet Set Knights.

The game, which has just left Steam Early Access, puts players in tiny, vertical scrolling 2D arenas filled with unpleasant creatures and a princess sitting in a vulnerable position. They’ll need to dispatch the various devils, slimes, and snowballs with the game’s unlockable weapons, spells, and equipment.

The varied silly monsters will give way to larger, tougher monsters, but by bringing up to four players to the fight, players can win the day. They can also engage in a few competitive modes as well if they’re not feeling like helping each other out.
