Rampage Land Rankers is an upcoming free-to-play smartphone RPG, featuring character designs by Tetsuya Nomura and directed by Mitsunori Takashi, the director of the Dissidia Final Fantasy games. The latest trailer shows us more of the game’s action.
The dungeons in Rampage Land Rankers are filled with hidden traps and treasure. Running into a trap will give you a negative status effect, which will have a major impact on your next few steps.
In order to have a better chance of making your way through these dungeons, you’ll need to use what’s known as the “Cooperation Card”. These cards come in various effects such as making certain areas become healing areas, or lower the chances of getting hit by traps.
As you advance through the dungeon, using these cards will become more and more crucial in making it out safely. Additionally, using Cooperation Cards to help other players can get you “Good Job” points from them.
When a player uses a Cooperation Card, it will indicate which player used which card, and from there, you’ll get to send them your gratitude with Good Job points. Getting enough of these points will increase your luck, which can lead to plenty of nice bonuses.
Rampage Land Rankers will launch in Japan sometime in July 2015 for iPhone and Android.
