Here Are Artifacts Builds For Yaoyao in Genshin Impact

yaoyao artifacts Genshin impact

In Genshin Impact, Yaoyao is a Dendro Polearm character who specializes in support. Now, you obviously can build her as a DPS or a sub-DPS if you wish. But generally speaking, her kit makes her a great Dendro applier and healer, which means she has a certain amount of flexibility when it comes to who you want to run her with. Here are some Artifacts that you can put on your Yaoyao in Genshin Impact to maximize her potential as a support!

4-PC Deepwood Memories

Deepwood Memories is the Artifact set to have when you have a Dendro character on your team. The 2-PC effect increases the character’s Dendro DMG by 15% and the 4-PC set decreases the target’s Dendro RES by 30%. If you run Yaoyao as a support to a Dendro DPS like Alhaitham or if you’re using her to apply Dendro for Elemental Reactions, then this is a great set for her. The full Deepwood Memories set will allow her or her teammates to make the most of Dendro’s extremely powerful Reactions.

2-PC Tenacity of the Millelith + 2-PC EM

Because Yaoyao’s heal scales off of her Max HP, you can use the 2-PC Tenacity bonus to boost that. With a 2-PC, Tenacity of the Millelith increases a character’s Max HP by 20%. Her Elemental Burst works similar to Sayu’s in which it can deal damage along with heals. It can also apply Dendro, which is why you would want to have a high Elemental Mastery on Yaoyao. Artifact sets you can use for EM are Wanderer’s Troupe, Flower of Paradise Lost, and Gilded Dreams. So if you use these Artifacts for Yaoyao, that means you would mostly use your Yaoyao for her Elemental Burst.

4-PC Tenacity of the Millelith

You can also use a full Tenacity of the Millelith on Yaoyao in Genshin Impact. As mentioned earlier, it increase her Max HP by 20%. However, when you put four pieces on her, it allows her to buff the party’s ATK by 20% and their Shield Strength by 30%. This activates whenever she uses her Elemental Skill. This makes her a great support character for a more offensive party, even if you do not have a dedicated shielder. Functionally, she would work very similar to a character with Noblesse Oblige except with her Skill instead of her Burst.

When choosing Artifacts for Yaoyao, you have to decide what you want to use her for. If you want her to purely focus on healing, then you should focus on her Elemental Mastery, Energy Recharge, or Healing Bonus. If you want Yaoyao to work as a sub-DPS or Dendro applier, then you would want Elemental Mastery, Crit stats, and Energy Recharge. Of course, the sky’s the limit when it comes to building your characters. You can also try out unorthodox builds like a Physical Attack Yaoyao to take advantage of her fast animations. It would be a bit more work, though! In that case, you would need to get sets that boost her ATK or Physical ATK. Choose the Artifacts that suit your needs and play style!

Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices and as a 4-star character, Yaoyao is always in the gacha pool.
