Here’s A Closer Look At Yakuza Series’ April Fools’ RPG With Ichiban Kasuga In Full Glory

Sega’s Ryu ga Gotoku Studio had some fun on April Fools’ yesterday with a video showing a turn-based RPG Yakuza game inspired by Dragon Quest and Persona, featuring new protagonist Ichiban Kasuga.

The video that was originally shared for April Fools’ only showed an off-screen look, so after fans requested a direct-feed video, Sega obliged and gave us a closer look. It shows Ichiban Kasuga who is set to be the protagonist of the next Yakuza game that is in development for PlayStation 4, so this is actually one of the first looks we get of his character model outside of Yakuza Online where he debuted.
