Here’s How RAIDs Work in Tower of Fantasy RAIDs

While traveling through a game in a peaceful and wholesome manner is great, we all need a bit of a challenge from time to time. That is what Tower of Fantasy RAIDS are for. However, they might give you a bit of a headache if approached when you’re unprepared.

Tower of Fantasy RAIDs Explained

A raid in many multiplayer games is a mode in which a set number of players join forces to defeat an enemy force. This can be another set of players, some NPCs, or even a powerful boss. In Tower of Fantasy, a RAID is a weekly adventure mode all players unlock once they reach Level 60. Each player will team up with a group of up to 8 players to face a selection of bosses, each of them more powerful than World Bosses.

There are two difficulty options for RAID: Heroic and Challenging. The structure of the RAID is the same in both difficulties. However, in Challenging the bosses will feature improved stats and Wanderers will experience certain debuffs to increase the difficulty of the encounter. If any player dies during the RAID, they will not come back. There are no revivals. They will have to wait for the remaining players to defeat the boss or for them to be defeated.

Depending on your Wanderer Level and the difficulty you select, you will receive rewards if you complete the RAID successfully in Tower of Fantasy. These include Energy Crystal Dust, Clusters, and Universal Combat Parts, among other valuable items in the game.

Finally, you can only clear bosses once a week and will refresh every Monday. Here are the currently active Raid Bosses:

Active RAID Bosses in Tower of Fantasy

  • Apophis:
    • While Apophis will cast a powerful radius attack, he does not have a shield. It will act as its World Boss counterpart but will cast its Ultimate at any time without a recognizable pattern during the RAID.
  • Frigg and Valkyrie:
    • You must defeat both bosses at the same time and two different portals will be open that will direct you and your team to either of them.
  • Apostle Nemesis:
    • Reminiscent of Frigg and Valkyrie, you will have to face them at once. However, if they are close to each other they will begin to heal each other. Moreover, from time to time they will teleport a random player to an alternate dimension. Prevent the said player from dying by breaking Apostle Nemesis’ shield to bring him back.

Tower of Fantasy is available on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Android, iOS, and PC.
