Here’s How the Rito Tulin Looks in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

There’s a new piece of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom ally art showing Tulin. He’s a Rito who originally appeared as an NPC in Breath of the Wild. In that game, he was just a child who was connected to an archery challenge. Now, it seems he’ll be an archer fighting alongside link.

The new Tulin The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom art provides context for the game. In Breath of the Wild, he was a fledgling. After finishing the Divine Beast Vah Medoh and unlocking the Flight Range bow practice, he’s so little that his father Teba has to carry him on his back to fly there. Now he’s older, his plumage is fuller. This, combined with the fact that he’s now described as a “skilled archer” instead of shown as a beginner at the range shows that years have passed between the two titles.

Here’s the new look at Tulin.

You can see him flying and fighting alongside Link at the 3:06 mark in the third trailer for the game.

This is one of the second more focused looks at characters. Nintendo also shared Ganondorf art. That was followed by Matthew Mercer revealing he voices the character.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will come to the Nintendo Switch on May 12, 2023, and an OLED Switch model based on it launches on April 28, 2023.
