Higurashi: When they Cry Visual Novel Will Be Released On Steam

Recommended Videos

This week, visual novels took another step forward in the west—or at least, one visual novel in particular did, and hopefully, this will pave the way for more to follow behind it. Higurashi: When they Cry has been approved on Steam Greenlight and will be rleaesd on Steam.

MangaGamer are currently in discussions with Valve regarding the release of the game. No release date has been set for Higurashi yet, but we’ll keep track of any further developments and report them as they happen. In the meantime, you can visit the game’s Steam Greenlight page here.

Hopefully, we see more visual novels make their way onto Steam in the future. Steins;Gate in particular would make for a great candidate once the English version of the game is released by JAST USA.
