Raji: An Ancient Epic is an action game inspired by Hindu and Balinese mythology, drawing from its monsters, stories, history, and gods to create a dangerous journey for a young woman out to save her brother, as well as the world, from a demon invasion.

Raji, the heroine, is granted a blessing from the Goddess Durga after witnessing her brother being kidnapped by demons. This power will let her hammer at her enemies with a powerful staff, taking down foes with fluid combos, as well as gain access to other weapons. Players can choose how to customize these tools through the blessings of various other gods, choosing who to gain favor from in order to access ice, lightning, fire, and other abilities with each different armament.

Players will have to fight foes drawn from myth, facing demons and creatures unique to Indian mythology. They will do so in structures that also draw from India’s history, placing players in the grand palaces and colossal fortresses of the Rajput kings of Rajasthan, offering them unique views, architecture, and artwork to see as they fight the demon threat.
