As a result of Hololive Super Expo 2024 and the Hololive 5th Fes concert, many Vtubers and people are in the Tokyo area as a result of the Makuhari Messe event. It also turns out that the Akihabara Mister Donut became a hotspot for Hololive fans due to FUWAMOCO, Advent Vtubers Fuwawa and Mococo, stopping there for Pon de Rings.
Immediately after arriving in Japan on March 6, 2024, Fuwawa and Mococo took to the FUWAMOCO social media account to share they went to Mister Donut. Here’s that first tweet, which also shared a picture of the Pon de Rings and some drinks.
Since then, they’ve followed up with additional announcements referencing the restaurant and dessert.
As a result, people have been sharing photos on social media of the increased traffic, particularly at the Akihabara location, because of FUWAMOCO fans stopping by. Here are some of the social media posts showing the increased traffic by “Ruffians” stopping by because Fuwawa and Mococo have.
A person going by HiJeff shared a photo of the line outside of the restaurant.
In Birchlabs’ post, it showed how the Pon de Rings FUWAMOCO shared pictures about and mentioned were selling at an increased rate.
This also prompted an additional tweet by Fuwawa and Mococo on March 15, 2024. In it, the duo asked fans visiting to behave themselves when heading to the Akihabara location.
