How Ninja Theory Gave Hellblade’s Leading Lady A Realistic Body

Recommended Videos

The latest of Ninja Theory’s behind-the-scenes videos about the development of Hellblade focuses on how the studio went about giving Senua, the game’s protagonist, a realistic body.

As the video above shows, the team used a hand scanner to capture the shape of a real woman’s body, including how her muscles behave during different movements.

Not only has this gave Senua realistic body proportions but it has allowed for lifelike animation and even finer details such as fingerprints.
