The news about Siren: New Translation sounded great until I remembered how frustrating Siren was on the PlayStation 2. Sightjacking was a neat gameplay mechanic and the Shibito were frightful looking creatures. However, they were too powerful with persistent reanimation. Siren was really about sneaking around, not ghoul hunting. I didn’t beat it. I’m not sure how many people saw the entire challenge to the end, but Siren can be completed.
A member on the Insert Credit forums found an impressively detailed video walkthrough that makes the incredibly difficult game look like a piece of cake.
