How to evolve Archaludon in Pokemon Indigo Disk
You will need to use Metal Alloy on Duraludon to evolve it into Archaludon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Indigo Disk. After you have caught Galar Pokemon in the Terarium, you must track down the evolution item to trigger its new evolution.
Below are the full steps on how to evolve Archaludon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet:
- Catch Duraludon in the Indigo Disk Polar Biome, or transfer it from your Pokemon HOME account.
- Fast travel back to the Blueberry Academy entrance, and then select the School Store.
- Purchase the Metal Alloy item for 300 BP (Blueberry Points).
- Open up your backpack menu and use the Metal Alloy on a Duraludon in your party to trigger its evolution into Archaludon.
Where to get Metal Alloy in Pokemon Indigo Disk
Metal Alloy can be purchased at the Blueberry Academy School Store for 300 BP in Indigo Disk. Return to the Entrance fast travel point after progressing through the DLC’s tutorial section. Next, enter the academy and select the “School Store” option from the level selection screen.
To obtain Metal Alloy, simply walk up to the School Store NPC and look at his Shop Inventory. You can find the Archadludon evolution item beneath Dubious Disc. However, you will need a total of 300 BP to purchase it. So you better start grinding out those BBQs!
Where to find Duraludon in Indigo Disk
Duraludon can be found in the Polar Biome in the Indigo Disk DLC. After completing the tutorial section of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet expansion, travel to the northwest corner of the Terarium map until you snow.
Duraludon can be found wandering all around the snowy mountains in the Polar Biome. However, I found the Galar Pokemon in the southeast corner of the wintery tundra. Below is a map of where you can find Duraludon in Indigo Disk:
Like the Dipplin evolution Hydrapple, Archaludon is the only other Pokemon to receive a new evolution line in the Indigo Disk. Both Pokemon also have a similar evolution method in that they require a special item. Thankfully, evolving Duraludon isn’t too difficult as you can outright purchase Metal Alloy at the Blueberry Academy!
