Avatar Aang has arrived in Fortnite, and you can now visit him by traveling to a secret unmarked location on the map. Here is how to find Aang in Fortnite and where you need to go to find The Last Airbender iceberg that he’s trapped in.
Where is Aang in Fortnite? – Location guide
The first crossover event in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is now live, and Epic Games has added Korra from the Legend of Korra as an unlockable skin. However, players can also find Aang from The Last Airbender as well, as the Avatar is actually located in a hidden spot on the map. If you’ve been struggling to find him, you are not alone! After all, Aang’s Iceberg isn’t even marked on the map. Don’t worry, though. We’ve got you covered.
Aang is located in the ocean east of Classy Courts in Fortnite and can specifically be found trapped in an Iceberg north of the snowy Grand Glacier mountains. As stated above, his island doesn’t show up on the map, so you need to already know where he’s at in order to drop in on him. For your convenience, we have provided a map below that shows the exact location of Aang in Fortnite:
The easiest way to find Aang in Fortnite is to start a match and jump out of the Battle Bus at the last second when it nears the snowy Grand Glacier mountains. Specifically, wait until you are close to the Classy Courts and then dive east of it.
Use your glider and soar towards the ocean to reach the location marked on the map above. As you get closer, you will then see a giant island in the middle of the ocean with a massive iceberg on it. Land next to it, and you will see Aang and Appa trapped inside the ice.
How to unlock Aang in Fortnite
Now that you’ve found Aang in Fortnite, you may be wondering how to get him out of his iceberg. At the time of writing, there is no way to unlock Aang in Fortnite. According to dataminers, Aang’s iceberg will eventually melt as Chapter 5 Season 2 progresses, or possibly during an in-game event.
Considering the Korra skin has already been added in Fortnite, we are likely to get Aang as well in the near future. For now, though, you can only visit the Airbender’s iceberg and score some sweet loot for your match.
