How do I get the Dark Link armor set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

I hope you’re feeling brave, because you’re going to have to dive into the Depths to obtain the full Dark Link set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Unlike other popular items from The Legend of Zelda, the Dark Tunic, Dark Trousers, and Dark Hood are not obtainable via amiibo.

As you explore the Depths, you’ll come across a blue, glowing currency known as Poe Souls. There are thousands of them scattered throughout the underground map, so you most likely have a pile of them already if you’ve already been down there.

To get the Dark Link armor set, you must collect 650 Poe Souls and visit three specific Bargainer Statues, two of which are also located in the Depths.

Dark Hood Location

The Dark Hood is unlocked from the Cliff Bargainer Statue for 300 Poe Souls. Head to coordinates -1028, 2693, -0273 to find it northeast of the Yisuayam Lightroot.

Dark Tunic Location

This is the easiest to obtain of the three pieces to get. You unlock the Dark Tunic at the Lookout Landing Bargainer Statue in Josha’s room. Hand over 150 Poe Souls to add the chest gear to your collection.

Dark Trousers Location

The final piece of the Dark armor set is traded for 200 Poe Souls at the Wellspring of Power Bargainer Statue. To find it, travel northwest from the Akinatanis Lightroot in the Depths. If you don’t have the Lightroot unlocked, glide down the Chasm in East Akkala Plains with your Paraglider and go northwest.

What does the Dark Link armor set do in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? (TotK)

When worn at nighttime, the Dark armor set increases Link’s movement speed slightly. This is perfect if you’re trying to hunt down enemies which only appear at night, such as Stalkoblins.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
