How to Romance Sarah Morgan in Starfield

Sarah Morgan is one of the first major characters you’ll meet in Starfield. She is the current leader of the group, Constellation, which stands at the center of the main story in this space-trotting adventure. She isn’t just a companion for your character, though, but a potential romance partner as well. So, here’s how to romance Sarah and start a relationship with her in Starfield.

How to Romance Sarah in Starfield

First and foremost, before you can romance Sarah Morgan in Starfield, you’ll need to recruit her. Fortunately, this happens directly in the middle of the main story. You’ll want to complete the prologue, head to New Atlantis, and speak with Constellation at the Lodge.

You’ll get “The Old Neighborhood” main story quest, which takes you to the Sol System. At this point, Sarah joins your crew as your forced companion for the duration of this quest. From this point forward, you can try to romance Sarah as you explore the cosmos.

How you go about doing this starts with her approval. You want to make decisions she approves of, which generally fall on the “good” side of everything. If you steal, trespass, pickpocket, pick lockets, murder, or anything illegal, she will dislike that. But if you give money to those in need, refuse a reward for your services, and pick kind options when speaking with Sarah and others, she will like that. Over time, she will notify you while traveling that she’d like to speak with you. When this happens, always talk to her as soon as possible.

She will tell you about the previous leader of Constellation and her backstory. During these moments, you get several chances to raise her approval by picking options she would agree with. In addition, as you get to know her more, “flirt” conversation options will also appear.

You’ll want to pick those every chance you get. Sarah Morgan is a slow burn, requiring you to talk with her a lot and spend time with her often. If you want to romance her, I suggest keeping her as your active companion at all times.

Starfield is available for the Xbox Series X and PC.
