How to Upgrade Health and Health Flasks in Blasphemous 2

You will notice fairly early that enemies in Blasphemous 2 can be particularly hard to beat. Not because they are masters of agility and strategy, but because a single hit can mean the difference between life and death. Add a very limited invisibility frame feature after each hit, and you have a very hard game to tackle. However, balancing is here to rescue all of us, and it takes the form of Health and Health Flasks upgrades in Blasphemous 2.

How to Get Health and Health Flasks Upgrades in Blasphemous 2

Throughout your exploration of the horrifying world of Blasphemous 2, you will encounter a total of three different items that are related to your Health and Health Flasks. These are Chalices, Receptacles, and Crystal Shards.

These three items can be found across the world inside treasure chests, as rewards, and as store purchases. Once you have collected one of the items above, travel to the City of the Blessed Name. The exact room is located just below the city’s Fast Travel point. There, you will encounter a woman NPC that will accept these items in exchange for health upgrades in Blasphemous 2:

• Chalices: By exchanging Chalices, your Health bar will be increased.
• Receptacles: Receptacles will grant you extra Health Flasks.
• Crystal Shard: These Crystals will upgrade your Health Flasks, recovering more Health.

Thanks to the ability to fast travel through the different sections of the Blasphemous 2 world, you will be able to access these Health upgrades as soon as you collect any of the items above. As said above, you must upgrade your Health and healing capabilities if you wish to survive. Enemies will become increasingly powerful and will not hesitate to kill you with a single strike. Using your Flasks and optimizing your dashing and parrying abilities to avoid taking damage is the way to go.
