We haven’t heard much about Level 5’s soccer RPG, but that should change since Inazuma Eleven is scheduled to come out on August 22 in Japan. Like Professor Layton the Nintendo DS game will include anime sequences produced by Oriental Light and Magic. The studio must be taking some time away from Pokemon to sketch the cast of 1,000 characters in Inazuma Eleven.
On May 15 we will get to know some of them. CoroCoro Comic will begin publishing an Inazuma Eleven manga. CoroCoro Comic actually publishes many video game meets manga tie-ins like Rockman EXE (Mega Man: Battle Network) and a Sonic the Hedgehog comic. I believe they worked on a short Professor Layton publication too, which means this isn’t the first time Level 5 is working with them.
