As it stands, no further information has come out regarding the Injustice: Gods Among Us animated movie. This includes potential plot details, or even a window of release.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is a fighting game created under the joint development of NetherRealm Studio and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The title launched in April 2013 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PC, Wii U, and PlayStation Vita. The game incorporated iconic characters from the DC Comics Universe. This included Batman, Superman, Harley Quinn, Deathstroke, and Green Lantern.

A sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us, titled Injustice 2, released in May 2017. This was a direct continuation to the storyline in Injustice: Gods Among Us, which featured an alternate future. Like its predecessor, it featured iconic characters from the comic universe. However, Injustice 2 saw several more characters added to the roster like Catwoman and Black Manta.

Injustice: Gods Among Us released in April 2013 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PC, Wii U, PlayStation Vita, and mobile devices.
