Insight Is A Multiplayer FPS Where Players Won’t Want To Make A Sound

Multiplayer FPS Insight encourages players to shoot one another as quietly as possible, as every noise they make will reveal their position on the map to all of the other players.

Every time players make a sound, they can be seen through walls throughout the level. For players to avoid making noise, they will be able to use an array of wall and floor slides, which will let players glide along surfaces a bit more quietly. These moves will cost the player speed, though, whereas they can chain jumps, execute rocket jumps, and boost in order to go faster, but create a lot more noise that will reveal where they are. Its in gaining speed at the right times, then slipping away through acrobatic, quiet movements that players will get the drop on each other.

To increase the danger of being seen, the game offers three weapons: a rocket launcher, lightning gun, and ricochet railgun. All of these have lethal direct fire attacks, but also feature alt fire modes that can go through walls, whip around corners, or ping around a room, allowing players to attack players who would normally be safe in another chamber. This further encourages players to stay out of sight, as they can be in danger even when far away.
