Introduction to the Panic System in Dawn of Mana

Dawn of Mana is the first fully 3D mana game, which has led to a number of deviations from the typical Mana formula. At E3 we saw the main character have a whip weapon, which can be used to grab objects from a far. Now we know about the panic system, one of the ways to level up Eldy. Start out by grabbing an object like a crate then throw it into a group of monsters. This will surprise and stun monsters momentarily so you can dash in to attack. If you eliminate a monster while it’s immobile you can get bonus medals, which increase HP, attack and MP.
