Is Guns & Souls The Next Game From Square Enix Japan?

Siliconera discovered Square Enix registered a trademark for Guns & Souls in Europe. While this sounds like something from the Eidos side, it’s actually from Square Enix Japan. Perhaps, the Japan team is developing some kind of shooter? They tried that with Mindjack, Gun Loco (which was canceled), and Catacombs (which AQ Interactive was developing).

Square Enix Europe also filed a trademarks for Hitman: International Contract Agency and Hitman: ICA. We realize that’s Agent 47’s employer, but it is interesting that Square Enix Europe registered two trademarks for an imaginary organization. Could these be related to the Hitman game Square Enix Montreal is working on?
