Just how does Magic Taizen for the Nintendo DS work? First you have players draw cards from your hand and then by picking choices on the DS’ screen the DS can figure out what the card is. Do you have to know some basic magic skills like forcing people to take cards? Or are all of the tricks mathematically based? Or is the DS psychic? These videos over at the Touch Generations site show the game being played and in the commercials the people look pretty amazed. Obviously since these are ads they aren’t going to look bored, but if my DS can figure out what card I’m holding I would be pretty impressed too.
