Namco Bandai announced a game with kaiju monster combat for the Wii based on a TV show called Daikaiju Battle, which sounds pretty awesome since it includes kaiju monsters. Last year Bandai released a plug and play TV game with monsters from Daikaiju Battle. Let's TV! Play Taikan Daikaiju Battle Ayatsure! Ultra Daikaiju also included motion control. There isn’t any concrete evidence that the Nintendo Wii game is an adaptation or partially uses mechanics from the Let’s TV game, but it would be interesting if Namco Bandai is looking for a way to repackage their existing line up of plug and play TV games. Square Enix did it when they released Dragon Quest Swords, a spiritual successor to a TV game release in Japan called Kenshin Dragon Quest.

Something else interesting to note is the how Gomora, one of the monsters from the show, looks in both games. The picture on the left hand side has Gomora from the TV show. The picture on the right is the model of Gomora in Daikaiju Battle Colosseum for the Wii. The picture in the center is the Gomora model from the Let’s TV game.
