After being delayed from a July release Hudson rescheduled Tetris Party to come out in Japan sometime this October. Tickets cost 1200 Wii Points ($12). This makes Tetris Party one of the more expensive single downloads on Nintendo’s store, but it looks like it’s going to be well worth it. In addition to balance board controlled Tetris battles there is a course mode where you race and rotate a block so it doesn’t get touch a wall. Another single player mode has players build a staircase for a little man to run on. Finally, a twist on the falling block formula Tetris invented that doesn’t involve bombs or falling hats.
