PlayStation Now October 2020 Lineup Includes Days Gone and Medievil

There’s something of a theme going on with most of the PlayStation Now October 2020 games. The Japanese lineup appeared first and offered a peek into our future. It’s one that includes freakers (zombies), an otherworldly serial killer (Jason), and skeletons (Sir Daniel Fortesque). Yes, headliners like Days Gone, Friday the 13th the Game, and Medievil all have some spooky elements and will show up on October 6, 2020. The global version of the PlayStation Blog later confirmed it.

Those three are the only new addition that really suit the season. Days Gone is the game where Deacon, a biker, deals with life in the Pacific Northwest after a zombie apocalypse. (It will be available until January 4, 2021.) In Friday the 13th the Game, one person plays as Jason and the other up to seven people are camp counselors trying to escape his wrath. Medievil is the remake of the PlayStation game from Other Ocean.

There are some PlayStation Now October 2020 additions only available in certain territories, though. Battle Princess Madelyn, a Ghouls ‘n Ghosts sort of game, and Steel Rats are both only available in Japan. Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince will let up to four people work together to solve puzzles and stop the, well, Nightmare Prince in every region. Finally, places like North America and Europe will get Double Fine’s roguelike, Rad.

The new PlayStation Now games appeared on October 6, 2020 in Japan. Days Gone will only be available until January 4, 2021. Other recent additions to the service include Final Fantasy XV
