JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean Will Continue in Fall 2022

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean part 2 will release in Fall 2022, starting with episode 13. The second part of the latest season is releasing exclusively on Netflix worldwide in a 12-episode batch, similar to the first part of the season. Furthermore, Warner Bros. also released a new teaser trailer featuring footage from the upcoming release.

Episodes 13 to 24 will appear in a single batch on Netflix sometime in Fall 2022. Notably, the Japanese broadcast air date is not specified and simply states that it will air sometime within 2022. There is no confirmation on whether the Japanese television broadcasts will come before or after the Netflix release.

The release window announcement appeared as part of the ongoing AnimeJapan 2022 event. Voice actors Fairouz Ai, Mutsumi Tamura, and Mariya Ise, among many others, appeared on stage as part of a live-streamed talk. In addition to a new key visual featuring characters such as Weather Report and Narciso Anasui, the event also showcased a short trailer. The trailer is available to watch on YouTube with English subtitles and features narration by Jolyne Joestar.

Stone Ocean is the sixth part of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga series. An anime adaptation of the series began in December 2021, with the first 12 episodes available exclusively on Netflix one month before the official television broadcast. The twelfth episode aired in Japan just last week.
