Kadokawa To Hold Pixel Game Maker MV Competition For Independent Release

Kadokawa announced today that they will be holding a competition for Pixel Game Maker MV, the latest game creation tool in the Maker series. [Thanks, Famitsu!]   The winning game will be published as an independent game under Kadokawa on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Currently, Pixel Game Maker MV has yet to release fully, as it is only available via Steam Early Access at the moment.   What Kadokawa is looking are action game creations made using original assets via the game engine. Aspiring developers can try submitting their creation from October 3, 2019 to March 31, 2020. The game should be developed for 1280×720 resolution.   Pixel Game Maker MV is available on PC via Steam Early Access, but fully launches on September 19, 2019.
