Kid Icarus: Uprising has two multiplayer modes. Descent of the Angels is a team based multiplayer match where three light and three shadow angels duke it out. Players can use items on the battlefield to make a giant foot stomp on other players and equip different types of weapons. Kid Icarus: Uprising also a battle royal mode where it’s every angel for themselves.
Players can fight each other over an ad-hoc connection and through Internet play. You can challenge a buddy from your friend list or meet up with a stranger. According to the menus, internet play lets you meet with players from around the world.
