Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV Has Been Performing Well In Japanese Theaters

Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV premiered in Japanese theaters on July 9 and Square Enix announced that it has already grossed 105,611,860 yen and was watched by over 70,133 cinemagoers.

 

The numbers might not be as impressive to some, but keep in mind that the CGI film is has been limited to only 44 theaters across Japan. “Those of you who are still on the fence about buying the game will definitely want to get it after watching this film,” “it’s a genuine movie that can be enjoyed even if you’ve never played a Final Fantasy game,” and “those of you who are planning on playing Final Fantasy XV will definitely get a stronger feeling towards its character and world after watching the movie,” were some of the comments from the viewers.

 

Many others left comments saying how they’d like to watch the movie again, among other positive feedback for the CGI film.

Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV will launch in select movie theaters in the United States on August 19, 2016. The film will release on Blu-ray and digitally this fall.
