Kirby: Triple Deluxe is coming to North America and Europe in 2014, Nintendo announced this morning. While the game is slated for a January release in Japan, no release window has been provided for the west.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe will allow you to move Kirby into the background and foreground to dodge enemies and solve puzzles. The game will have a new Hypernova ability, which powers up Kirby’s inhale ability and enables him to suck up everything in his way.

As previously reported, Kirby: Triple Deluxe has over 20 different copy abilities. Four of these have been created specifically for the game.

Additionally, the game will have two new modes apart from its regular story mode. Kirby Fighters will let up to four players pick one of 10 copy abilities and then battle it out with each other. Meanwhile, Dedede’s Drum Dash will require you to press buttons in sync with Kirby music while jumping and collecting coins.
