Pre-orders have opened for the Kotobukiya Neku figure from The World Ends With You. They will remain open until September 21, 2021. Pre-orders will also include bonus interchangeable facial expression parts and will cost ¥14,300 (about $129). The TWEWY figure will release in January 2022.
As part of Kotobukiya’s ARTFX J line of figures, the 1/8 scale figure measures around 7 inches tall. The figure stands in the middle of the Shibuya crossing, with several vignette-style skyscrapers and the 104 department store in the background. Additionally, pre-orders will include a special bonus faceplate of Neku smiling slightly.
The Neku figure was previously teased back in May 2021, though at that point it was an unpainted model still in development. The figure is based on the anime adaptation of The World Ends With You, which ended its first season on June 26, 2021.

If you’re interested in more The World Ends With You merchandise, Square Enix recently announced a collection of plush toys featuring chibi versions of Neku, Shiki, Joshua, and other major characters from the series. Pre-orders for budget figures of Neku and Shiki are also still available on the Square Enix e-store. Additionally, Square Enix released the anime’s OST on June 30, 2021.
The Kotobukiya TWEWY Neku figure is immediately available for pre-order in Japan and will release in January 2022. Pre-orders will last until September 21, 2021, and will cost ¥14,300 (about $129).
