Final Fantasy Trading Card Game Dawn of Heroes Cards Teased

Square Enix offered the first glimpse of the latest Final Fantasy Trading Card Game (TCG) set Dawn of Heroes. It is due to be released in August 2023. It also showed its the Buy-a-Box promo card. The set will focus on FFXIV Endwalker and FFVII, but will include characterss from a range of titles including FFX, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King.

Dawn of Heroes will be the twentieth set – or Opus – for the Final Fantasy TCG and features 130 cards and 158 premium cards. These premium cards include 26 full-art cards and three new Legacy cards (full art foils of previous Legend rarity cards). It will also introduce a new Special rarity card, with further details available in 2023.

Square Enix also revealed the full-art Buy-a-Box promo, which is Final Fantasy XIV’s Zenos. This is a dark, four-cost Forward card.

Square Enix also recently opened pre-orders for the . This is a collection of cards for the game celebrating FFVII’s 25th anniversary. This 12-card set features alt-coloring treatment of previously-released cards, accompanied with a foil stamp of Tetsuya Nomura’s autograph. Only 3,500 of this limited set will be available, and is expected to ship in March 2023.

Pre-orders for the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game set Dawn of Heroes will begin in 2023. The set is expected to be released in August 2023.
